The Souls

See more about the souls

It's been a while. I have been busy with school, personal health, and a broken IPad. However, now is a good time to revisit this website. So, let's get straight into it--what are the 4 souls in the S2WT? Before an in depth explaination, let's look at a reoccuring theme in the trad--red, green, black, and white. These colors are very important in the S2WT, as they represent many things including but not limited to Devil faces, Witch Lords, and of course, souls. In the context of the souls, red is the soul of dead. It is the oart of us which not only connects us to our dead and allows us to preform necromancy, but also is the dead within us both dyring and after life. That may sound confusing and convoluted, but that is on purpose; death in life is a mystery, meaning we may never know or understand it but we may experience it. When we pass away, the red soul traverses into the mighty tunnel of blood and lives on throughout our descendents' lives. Then there is the green soul. The green soul is the soul ehich makes us a nature sourit and connected to nature, as well as other enviornments. The green soul exists so we may roam this world, as it is what makes us beings of our world. When we pass, the green soul decomposes into the ground and returns to the mysterious core of the earth where all green souls become one. We then have the black soul. The black soul is our minds--that is, our thoughts and feelings. It is what allows us to know, be it intellectually or through more esoteric aka emotional means. When we pass away the black soul dissolves. Finally there is the white soul, which is divinity. It is how we are divine and therefore how we connect to other divine beings. The white soul's destination after we pass away is similar to the green's in the sense it travels to a mysterious core or cauldron where all other s ouls of the same kind originate. Yet, it is like the red soulmin the sense it never fuses or dissolves, rather it stays distinct. That is the overview of the souls. There are other things I did not cover, but I hope this gave you a good idea on them. Thanks for reading!

Welcome to the first informational piece on this blog. In the six spoke wheel trad, or S2WT, we practice six major holidays in our wheel. Lets begin with the closest one to come: Springtide. Yeah, we do not call our holidays anything fancy-except for maybe one. Springtide is the spring equinox. The day in the S2WT represents the coming of the Spring devil and other spring spirits such as the spring fae court. Next on the list we have Hexenaught. Hexenaught falls on the day between Springtide and Summertide, and marks the monarch going from her darker hell form into her light, hevean form. It is also a day where the light half of the year begins and a day when the beloved and honored dead are more active. Now we have the previously mentioned Summertide. This holiday falls on the summer solstice and gives us the coming of the Summer Devil and other summer spirits such as the Summer fae court. Next there is Autumntide, which is similar to its counterpart Springtide in that it falls on an equinox, this one being the autumn one. Once again, this holiday is where the Autumn Devil and other autumn spirits such as the autumn fae court come out. Next up we have halloween, which falls directly between Autumntide and Wintertide. Halloween is an inversion of Hexenaught. It starts the dark half of the year whee the monarch goes into her dark, hellish form. Additionally, the dishonored and mighty dead are more active here. In Hexenaught and Halloween the nameless or unknown dead are very present. Finally, we have Wintertide, which is the winter solstice. This is where the Winter Devil and other winter spirits such as the winter fae court make themselves. In summary, the S2WT's wheel of the year not only affects seemingly mundane aspects of life but rather it affects every aspeft of life. Thank you for reading!
